Our 73% woven shade is made to be hung flat in the air, giving a 73% shade factor. The edges are folded, covered with shade tape and sewn with a double-needle lockstitch machine, with grommets about every 12" on all 4 sides. Life expectancy is about 10 years, based on UV exposure.
Keep it pulled tight at all times — any flapping, or rubbing against anything, will shorten its life. The material is delicate to the touch, so take care when hanging it.
